Workshops
The speakers at Remembrance Press have embraced a rare mission – to reach varied age groups within the homeschooling community. A vivid and inspiring trio, they draw from personal experience to touch hearts and lives through their teachings on the power of the written word.
Author and Christian conference speaker Jill Novak and her husband Robert have over 22 years of homeschooling experience with their five children. Jill draws from that knowledge and from her love of writing and art to help parents foster relationships with their children, preserving a written legacy for generations to come. Her oldest daughter speaks of finding identity in Christ after being homeschooled through high school, while her son – also a homeschool grad – inspires young adults to make an impact upon their generation.
Our Mission
It is Jill’s earnest deisre to inspire and equip homeschooling families to grow in their relationship with the Lord and one another, and to develop their talents and gifts to glorify Him.
For Mothers and Daughters: Jill encourages mothers and daughters to grow in their relationship with one another, and creatively serve their families from the heart. Jill and her older daughter Claire are available for mother daughter retreats and teas.
For Mothers: Due to the birth and death of her fourth child, Nicholas, from the genetic syndrome Trisomy 13 and a serious personal illness in 2005, Jill brings a life-giving message of compassion and hope to mothers who are going through painful and devastating trials.
For Homeschool Children: Through practical and inspiring presentations, Jill encourages children (preschool through high school) to grow as artists and writers by writing and drawing from life. Jill is also available for children’s classes.
For Teens and Homeschool Grads and Parents: The mother of two homeschool graduates, Jill and her older children, Claire (23) and Eric (18), love teaching parents and high schoolers how to write for the real world and develop their God-given talents to glorify Him. Besides her position as creative director of The Girlhood Home Companion, Claire is a free-lance journalist and contributor to The Old School House Magazine. She is also a Nara certified therapeutic riding instructor and founder of a new non-profit for families impacted by special needs. Eric is a graphic deisigner, web designer, and co-founder of Cross-Eyed blog and webzine. Jill, Claire, and Eric are available for speaking to parents, teens and and older children who desire to work from home, especially in the area of self-publishing.
