Welcome to the forum! Remembrance Press has set the following rules in place to assure a happy and cooperative community. Please respect and abide by these rules, as they are the foundation of this forum and aim to create a family-friendly environment.
Please note - the opinions and beliefs expressed by forum members do not in any way represent the opinions, beliefs, values, or endorsements of Remembrance Press or The Girlhood Home Companion.
General Rules
-Please be family-friendly. No swearing, discussion of inappropriate or offensive topics, discriminating against another user because of race, age, background, sex, culture, or upbringing, etc.
-Abbreviations for expletives are not allowed under any circumstance.
-Double posting is not permissible at all. If you want to add thoughts to a post you've written, please do so by editing it.
-Please post with substance and keep chatspeak to a minimum. An occasional “LOL” is acceptable, but do not reply with just “LOL.” Do not post in chatspeak (ur gr8 u no, etc.), rather, use proper spelling, grammar and punctuation. Use of ALL CAPS is prohibited.
-Because it usually raises arguments, discussion of politics is strictly prohibited.
-Be polite, respectful, and kind to other members. Remember that others are entitled to their own views, opinions, and convictions.
-Please speak in English, it is the primary language of the forum.
-Never give out your full name, address, phone number, email, photo, etc., unless you know the person you are sharing it with. If someone is trying to force you to give them your personal info, contact an administrator immediately.
-We cannot stress this enough: post content is more important that the number of times you post on the forum! People often base their view of a person’s maturity based on the content of their posts. This does not mean that you have to post particularly deep posts, but rather that you use correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and do more than merely agree with someone. Post count does not and should not have any bearing on the way others are treated or respected. We value quality, not quantity, in both our members and their posts.
-Stay on topic. This rule applies to all of the discussion forums with the exception of threads stated as so. This means that you are allowed to carry on the natural course of a conversation only when stated at the beginning of the thread.
-Only post links relevant to the discussion. Advertising your product or services or the products or services of others is not allowed. Please contact us for advertising rates if you are interested in making fellow forum members aware of your resources.
-Please direct all product questions to
publisher@remembrancepress.comRemember, the administrators and the moderators will remove forum posts that go against the stated rules. Repeatedly breaking the rules will result in your account being deactivated.
Most of all, have fun and enjoy the Remembrance Press community! Happy posting!
